Are Towing Factions Dead?

Recommended Posts

Towing, medical factions, etc are all dead because most people don't choose to roleplay with you. Many people are forced to roleplay with you, which because of the MTA/GTA mentality of wanting to "Win" at the "game", no one plays nice or fun, and when the person you're roleplaying with is being snobby and not having fun, that toxicity carries right over.

That right there is on point.

Much love @Ice

I still miss the days of leading that faction, best times ive had in this server :P

Oh and yeah major bump.

@Snipes

If you'd like I could hop ingame sometime and give some pointers on how to make a towing faction a more serious player in the server and make it more enjoyable for the people involved in it.

One way for a towing faction to stay relevant would be to provide vehicle storage. Let's say you have a big ass lot where you store towed vehicles. Why not dedicate a section of that lot where people can "rent" car spaces and store their personal vehicles? It's a good alternative way to make money.

Towing factions do serve a purpose. A lot of people don't seem to realize how important TTR/TR/BoTS is until nobody is online and they need some shit towed. I think centralizing the towing system to a government entity was a poor idea. It should've stayed as a private business imo. Anyone who went super autismo could easily fuck BoTS in court for 4th amendment violations.
