Ordering snow tires from JGC

Recommended Posts

So when you order snow tires from JGC you don't need to put a link, the price for the snow tires will be set at $500 per set. $500 is the required money for Logistics & SLD to pay for the actual snow tire item after spawning the generic box item.

1) It's a set of tires. Price it accordingly, should be 500 dollars a set, at least. And that's what -you- guys pay. You can charge the guy paying more obviously.

What's the reason behind this "rule"?

people will pay a bunch for these tires as they've done plenty of times. This is to make sure it's somewhat realistically priced to the money in the server and people can't just order 50 snow tires for 150 dollars and sell off for a thousand a pair just because of the event once a year.

What's the point of this post?

The point of this post is to inform people that they do not A) Need links for importing winter tires, as they are a set price, and B-) that Winter Tires are a set price and you can't get them imported for any cheaper because UAT believes that buying tires based on their RL prices is unrealistic for some reason.

$500 for four brand new winter tires is an average cost. That's what the IC tire supplier is selling them to import companies and they can sell them for whatever they choose to.

who is the ic tire supplier..? and uh-

there are a lotttt of tires you can get for well under $500 - and that's direct to customer, so not to mention that $500 is the price the actual import company has to pay, which means upwards of $600+ if the importers want to make any money at all.

Also look at the right.

We gave a reasonable price for the tires by trying to be sorta in the middle of what they cost IRL. Sure you can get really cheap shit ones, but the script isn't made to have variation based on the quality of tire. There is just one so we just got an average price. This is a non-issue.

still, $500 should be the price then for the consumer, not the company itself.. (Also, you're looking at Canadian dollars, which is quite a bit more than USD)

We have to set a price point for the company somewhere, $500 seems fine.

Importer should pay 250 and consumer 400-500

you just said 500 is about average for the consumer though.. so that makes very little sense why that would be what the company pays.

Way too cheap for an importer, regardless this isn't up for discussion. It's a fair price to have a fair quality tire in the server based on the average of RL prices of decent winter tires. It's not overpriced by a longshot and it's not too cheap.

Plenty of tires cost 600+ that's not uncommon.
