Has taken several lives but remembers each every single one of them, often haunted by the memories. Criminals: Although an ex-felon himself and often dealing in firearms and narcotics, Rico believes that those who aren’t in the life of crime should be protected at all costs unless they themselves endanger him or those around him. However, Rico holds a firm rule regarding snitching as he sees it as a threat to the club he runs and will often seek out retribution on those who betray the club or him. Police: Rico learnt from a young age that those in uniform should never be trusted, however, he will often get on with those in blue for personal gain. Vikings Motorcycle Club: Rico has been President of the Vikings MC since December 26th 2019, watching it grow and develop into something a lot bigger than just a club that rides motorbikes. Rico’s aim with the club is to help protect the community that surrounds it, being the voice for those who are unable to speak up or protect themselves. The club has a large operation in firearms and narcotics, however, they ensure that they have full control on who gets their hands on the product, and how it is used. Part of protecting the community means that the club often finds itself in the midst of gang troubles due to stepping in when members of the community are consistently robbed or attacked. This thread is the biography of the life of Rico Evans, due to how expansive his background is, the story will be added to in multiple posts on this thread to make it easier to read. Rico is perhaps my most developed character up to date, with several flaws that make him incredibly enjoyable to portray. Once his background has been fully written down it will continue to be updated with current happenings in his life or big events that happen (Hopefully not all of it will be him ending up in Hospital!) Popular Post Vubstersmurf 3,430
Home life and growing up All the time I was being beaten, I thought, "I'm not going to be fourteen forever, I need to grow up." Rico Evans has shot and stabbed and punched and clubbed more of his fellow human beings than he can remember. It would be easy to conclude that he fell into a hard life. That would be wrong. As Rico tells it, he didn’t fall into violence; violence is where his life began. Rico recalls a time when he was about ten, and his Mom had gone on yet another drunken rampage. This time, Rico’s mother held a knife, threatening him after he had found her in bed with another man whilst his father was away for work. “I was screaming at her to kill me. It wasn’t because I wanted to die - I just wanted it to stop. I loved her but I just wanted it all to end. Maybe if she killed me she would be locked away and my brother would be safe from her. Then all the violence and beatings would stop.” Rico’s father, Mathias Evans, was the youngest boy in a family of eight children, who were close in their own way. He was just nineteen when he enlisted in the armed forces, and his military records say he was motivated by “sense of duty.” Mathias served just four years before being discharged based on medical grounds after breaking his ankle severely. During his time in the armed forces, Mathias travelled to the states and met his future wife Nadia, a Russian Nurse who had moved to America as a young girl with her Father. The two soon got married, with Nadia moving permanently to Norway to work on the family farm that had been passed down through the Evans family whilst Mathias started up his own metalwork shop. Rico likes to joke that he was born “right beside my mother”. The point of this joke is that they didn’t really seem connected like Mother and child right from the start. If his mother hugged him and said she loved him on the day of his birth, it was perhaps the last time she did so. “My mother never in her life said ‘I love you’ to me. I was unexpected and see as another mouth to feed that they couldn’t afford.” Rico grew up with a younger brother: Dexter who was two years younger, who despite their age difference were inseparable, with Rico practically bringing up his brother by himself due to his mother finding solace in a bottle instead whilst their Father worked. For Rico his brother was the reason to keep going, often shielding him from the violence at home and doing what he could to try to give Dexter a normal life as much as possible. At age twelve, Rico discovered his brother had been running into difficulty at school with a group of kids who started lashing out at Dexter. Rico declared his personal war on bullies. “You’ve got to stop it before it starts. I’d stare at them knowing they’d eventually have to go, ‘What the fuck are you staring at?’ I’d go, ‘You.’ I’d know they were bullies just by watching them.” Soon Rico found himself in trouble after lashing out at a particular kid who he caught pushing his brother into some lockers, resulting in Rico being kicked out of the school and facing a severe punishment from his Mother when he got home. After the beating, he was told he didn’t deserve an education and was to work on the family farm bringing in food, alongside his Father’s metal shop until late into the night to try bring in some spare money. “You deal with what you’re dealt with in life. People who grow up like I grew up, you don’t realise there is any other option. It’s all if, if, if. It would have been nice to have a more loving family. I envy people - not to the point that I’m depressed- that are brought up with a loving family.” Rico’s father Mathias always sought for the comradeship he had when he was in the armed forces, eventually meeting up with members of the Bandidos in their area, soon becoming a patched member, spending more time at their clubhouse than with his own family. Yet the moments he did spend with his sons, he took them to the clubhouse to meet his patched brothers, sharing stories with them and teaching them in his own words, how to be a man. Rico doted on his father, wanting to be just like him in every way including following him into the Biker lifestyle. At age 13 Mathias started taking Rico to events ran by the MC, getting him to serve alcohol to members attending and then clean up the mess left by the crew afterwards. Even though it was work, Rico loved being around the members, listening to their stories and thinking he was treated as part of the club. The bikers oozed an aura of freedom and power, and of rich lives that lived outside of society’s rules, which had done nothing to benefit the teenaged Rico. Something about seeing the bikers cruising past him seemed all-powerful as if they could tell death itself to fuck off, like old-time circus performers who could stick their heads into the mouths of lions and pull them out again, smiling, without a trace of fear.

Popular Post Vubstersmurf 3,430
“The most loving parents and relatives commit murder with smiles on their faces. They force us to destroy the person we really are: a subtle kind of murder.” Rico was fourteen when he took part in his first murder, being thrust into the life with no return as his father tried to teach him what it meant to look after those who can’t look after themselves and in his own words ‘Be a man’. The person Rico was forced to take the life of was a 50 year old male, who had been found committing horrendous crimes too explicit to write on paper against children in the community. After handing Rico a firearm, his father ordered him to shoot the man in front of five other patched members of the MC, explaining to him that once he had, Rico would go down in the club’s history and confirm his place in the club once he was old enough to wear a patch. Even years later, Rico will always recall that night with his hands shaking as his finger coiled around the trigger of the gun, firing three times at the man, hitting him twice in the chest and once in the stomach. The gasps the male did for air as he laid on the tarmac whilst he bled out from his wounds. Yet it wasn’t the noises that disturbed Rico the most, it was the moment when he realised that after pressing the trigger there was no going back. That killing this man meant he had secured himself into a path of further violence and that the world wasn’t a forgiving place. It was messy, and even after several other times Rico has had to take a life, the ghosts of that night will follow him forever. From that moment on, Rico found himself more accepted around the club and started learning how to work on bikes and doing odd mechanic jobs for the bikers when needed. There were never enough hours in the day, as he struggled to balance working at the family farm, alongside his father’s metal work shop and helping out around the clubhouse when called upon. However, the one thing Rico always found time for was his brother, helping him with life at home best he could whilst trying to avoid his Mother’s alcoholic rampages where possible. For Rico, the more his mother targeted him the less she targeted his brother, therefore he tried to put himself in her way whenever he could in order to shield his brother from the violence. When Rico was Sixteen his family moved to Larkspur, California after his Father who had gotten into some trouble with another group of Bikers, came to the realisation that relocating his family was the only option he had to keep everyone safe. Thanks to some old contacts and friends of his Mother’s, the family managed to move quite swiftly with no questions asked. Instead of joining another Chapter of Bandidos, Mathias chose to create his own MC after getting the blessing from other chapters within the area. Deciding that Rico was old enough to understand the basics of being a member of the MC, Mathias gifted Rico his first Kutte alongside the Prospect patch. Mathias had the idea of teaching his son how to lead an MC in the long run so that when it was time to step down his son could take over. Yet, Rico clearly struggled to get used to life in California, not being able to speak English properly alongside not having the ability to read or write due to dropping out of education at a young age. Whilst his brother continued school and getting on with life, Rico spent every possible minute at the clubhouse, trying to learn as much as he could about life as a member of the MC as well as teaching himself mechanics to pass the time. In his eyes the more time he spent out of the house, the less tension there would be at home, meaning his Brother could get on with his own life without the fear of yet more violence from their Mother.
Popular Post Vubstersmurf 3,430
Unfortunately, as the MC continued to grow in their narcotics operations, Mathias became more determined than ever for his son to take over once he had decided his time had finished. He spent every minute organising bigger hits with Rico to try to convince his son that this life was the only life for him, handing him more responsibility during each run and teaching Rico how to become emotionally detached when handling business. The two of them grew in confidence as they began to make plans to target a rival group in Marin County, looking at ways to expand their firearms operation statewide. However, power brings enemies and those who wish to get ahead of those above them. This was especially true with members of the club who had grown bitter over their President’s preferential treatment of his son. In their eyes the Vice President of the club Jackson Little deserved the President patch, and therefore began plotting to remove Rico from the equation to bring Mathias to the realisation that his son was a liability from the start. The situation itself wasn’t helped by the fact Rico had fallen into substance abuse, using Cocaine to help deal with escaping from the stresses of real life, spending most of his time partying where possible and spending the night with women he never remembered the name of. For Rico drugs and alcohol was his life aside from his brother, and it would one day be his downfall. In January 2008, Rico got asked to take part in a job that involved raiding a Jewelry store for several expensive necklaces that they could then sell off for more cash to fund their operations. The group selected were made up of two other members of the MC, with the idea that the raid would be finished before the Police were even called. “Get in, show them you aren’t one to be fucked with and then get the fuck out with the necklaces.” That same night, Rico bundled himself into the tinted black van with the other two members of the team. His heart pounding from a mixture of adrenaline and the line of cocaine he had just taken in the bathroom of the clubhouse. This is what he lived for, the rush of a job and the rush of the white powder hitting his body, the only thing coming close to it was sharing the bed with a random woman who Rico forgot the name of the next day. The rest of the night was a complete blur to Rico, years later his mind trying to mentally block himself from relieving one of the worst moments of his life. All he can remember is the fact that the night ended up with several women screaming as gunshots rang out, before he was surrounded by members of the Police Department, their hands resting on their duty belts as they circled him like a wounded animal. The rest of his group quickly scattered, leaving him behind to fend for himself. Rico soon dropped the gun realising there was no escape, he didn’t want to hurt anyone. Yet as soon as the first Officer touched Rico, he exploded trying to knock them out of the way as they continued to come at him. Eventually the mace stung his eyes as each Cop dove for a limb, with Rico being unable to feel the batons as they smacked into him. He bit, punched and kicked, losing his breath as the steel locked his wrists together, his cheek grinding into the loose gravel on the ground. Rico was soon wrestled into a patrol car, gooey blood matted in his hair; dirt and pebbles embedded in his face with his clothes torn. People hounded the car outside, staring at the patched member of Bandidos being slung into a cruiser with no care for his safety, the cops clearly pissed by him fighting back. Suddenly Rico felt the handcuffs lock around his neck, “Take ‘em off! Take ‘em off! Take ‘em off or you’re gonna have a fight on your hands.” The cops looked on in confusement, watching Rico try to grapple the invisible handcuffs on his neck before slumping down into the seat, staring at the metal around his wrists. Dazed and lost beyond Rico’s worst acid trip, he crumbled when the Officers stood him up inside the jail after immediately transporting him there for processing. Locking him in a bare jail cell as they continued to talk in hushed tones, somewhat excited at the prospect of catching one of the members of the club that had continued to cause them no end of issues in the county. Inside the Jail Rico was rushed through processing, being explained that his court date was set for the weekend but would be behind closed doors due to him being part of the club and therefore having a potential risk of being targeted. For Rico he couldn’t have cared less, dead or alive his life was pretty much over, haven't not heard from his family, whilst hoping more than anything that his brother was keeping himself to himself in order not to face the wrath of their Mother when she found out. The incident and arrest itself was kept mostly out of the Media, with the reporters only stating that there had been a failed armed robbery with two unknown suspects currently on the run. The scarce details was exactly what the Officers who were dealing with the case had, with Rico refusing to give any further information that could potentially indicate who else was involved. The Officers explained that they had already been tipped off about the hit and that Rico must have been betrayed by someone close to him who knew about the raid. Rico however, stuck by his loyalty for the club despite being tormented by the thought of being betrayed by those he considered to be his brothers. The court date soon arrived, with Rico taken to the courthouse in secret with a towel wrapped around his head in order to conceal his identity from the press outside on the steps. Rico had been assigned an attorney by the state, having not received any help from the club who had more or less abandoned him by now. The only communication he had from the outside world was the one phone call he had been allowed to have where he continuously apologised to his brother, promising him he was most likely only going to get a couple of years for the incident according to his attorney. Unfortunately for Rico, the judge threw the book at him, sentencing him to Seven years at San Quentin for aggravated armed robbery, stating that he faced a harsher punishment due to his violent tendencies that were shown during the arrest as well as taking into account the victim statements of those in the store who had witnessed the incident. Several members of the public portrayed Rico as a ruthless individual who had threatened to kill everyone and their families if they spoke out against him, using the gun as a way to scare them even further. All of this was completely untrue, in reality Rico had said hardly anything in the store, freezing as he saw a young family inside. Instead he just aimed the gun slightly away from the staff in the store, choosing for the other two members with him to talk inside. What Rico, his attorney and his family failed to realise was that members of the club had visited those at the store, either paying them off to give false statements or explaining that if they didn’t state what the club wanted the court to hear, then they would be executed shortly after. The idea was the longer Rico was out of the picture, the less backup Mathias had and the bigger chance they had of removing Rico’s Father from the club presidency. With no one to back Rico’s story up, and the jury choosing to believe the witnesses instead, Rico was faced with seven long years in one of America’s most notorious prisons. Rico spent that night in a steel meshed cell, awaiting transfer to the prison. He was stunned that one night could go so horrendously wrong and had no clue what he was going to experience in one of the most notorious prisons in the states. “It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.” Edited January 5 by Vubstersmurf

Popular Post Vubstersmurf 3,430
“The Edge... There is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.” No one will ever truly be able to understand what Prison is like unless they have experienced it first hand themselves. The prison lifestyle you see on television or in the movies barely grazes the surface on what it is like behind the walls. Those who walk the blocks in uniform often return home unable to describe what they’ve witnessed that day. They become not only Prison Guards but also healthcare workers, social workers, carers and so much more. For those who are on the other side of the coin, the moment they step foot inside their entire world turns onto its head. You can be the toughest person around on the streets, but once inside those walls, your whole demeanour changes. Inside you have to be someone completely different in order to survive. The term jail craft is often thrown around by Prisoners and staff alike, a term used to describe the things you need to learn in order to get through your sentence or shift. For Rico the reality of his situation finally hit him after the cell door shut behind him for the first time, coming face to face with his cellmate Scott. Scott was a thirty-year-old white male who proudly wore the Neo-Nazi tattoos that covered his body, a true veteran of the prison system already having been in and out of incarceration throughout his life. Rico’s cellmate went on to tell Rico that he didn’t want to share a cell with someone else, especially not some jacked-up teenager and that he would spend every day possible making Rico’s life hell until he moved. Despite not understanding the English language very well, Rico knew from Scott’s tone that he was in trouble and that he had to try to keep himself to himself as best he could. When every cell was locked up for the night, Rico would lay on his bunk wide awake until he was positive his cellmate was asleep, waiting to hear the loud raspy snoring before he finally tried to close his eyes. The first couple of weeks, Rico tried to keep his head down, focusing on working out in his cell to keep his mind occupied and attempting to learn English better so that he stood out less. He hadn’t heard from his family aside from a brief letter from his Brother who wanted an explanation on what had happened and that their parents were fighting more than ever since Rico was sent down. Yet Rico failed to reply, still struggling to come to terms with the fact he was facing the full seven years behind bars unless he got out in five for good behaviour. Sadly good behaviour in prison is easier said than done, with Rico finding himself being watched by different gangs who had heard that a young member of the Bandidos MC had reached the Prison. Soon Rico found himself getting into fights with other members of the block who were trying to beat down the young inmate to get him to comply with their rules, wanting Rico to get drugs and other contraband smuggled in for them. However, even if Rico wanted to, he had no contacts from the outside world aside from his young brother, with his Father not answering his calls whenever he tried to ring him on the prison phone. As far as Rico could see he was all alone in trying to survive. A month into his sentence Rico began realising that the culture of the Prison meant that those who were seen as weak were often picked on by other inmates who would try and climb up the power ladder in order to gain more respect. With this in mind, Rico started to fight back even harder, getting involved with other incidents on the block when older inmates would target new inductions to see who would break first, for Rico he wanted to protect those who in his eyes were unable to protect themselves. Just like his father had taught him. One afternoon, Rico was holding some cleaning supplies when an inmate bumped into him on purpose. “I turned around and smacked him in the head.” An Officer called Matthews jumped in the middle and encouraged Rico and the inmate to continue the fight in the washroom. What stood out about the Officer was that he wore large, cheap rings on almost all fingers. He routinely organized fights between the younger inmates. No weapons were allowed and combatants were forbidden from kicking an opponent down. Other than that it was pretty much anything goes. Corruption was rife at the Prison, with inmates who often spoke up about it being found taken down to the Segregation Unit for some time until they learnt to keep their mouths shut. After a month at San Quentin, Rico met Simon Jepp another inmate his age who had been at the Prison a couple of months longer than him but had been incarcerated many times previously as a juvenile. Jepp took Rico under his wing, teaching him the ins and outs of ‘Jailcraft’ and how best to handle different scenarios whilst inside. The lads managed to persuade the Officers to give them a cell move onto a different wing so that they could bunk together, explaining that it would help Rico learn English better and decrease the number of incidents Rico had found himself in due to other inmates on the wing. The two of them were inseparable, with Rico learning to read and write with Jepp’s help in order to get a job in the Prison library which allowed him to gain a small income each month to spend on Canteen items to make his life inside a bit more comfortable. In January 2009, Jepp got the news that his son had been born and this seemed to have made Simon more adamant that he and Rico would continue to keep looking out for new inmates that came into the prison. “I can’t look at my son in the face if I don’t ensure we do everything we can to make life easier for others in this damn hell hole.” Jepp in the same moment asked Rico to be his son’s godfather, stating he saw something in Rico and that he hoped doing this would give Rico a reason to want to keep his head down once he had finished his sentence. Becoming a Godfather and being trusted with the position made Rico realised that his life could be different once he got out and that someone hadn’t given up on him, unlike his family who he still hadn’t heard from. For a good year, life inside the Prison was somewhat bearable thanks to Rico’s friendship with Jepp, however, everything was going to come to a sudden halt when both the young men went too far in trying to help others. Whilst continuing to look out for the new inmates on the block, Rico and Jepp found themselves unknowingly tangled up with an ongoing fight between the Arayan Brotherhood and the Black Guerilla Family after they both stepped in to stop members of the BGF from beating down a new white inmate who they didn’t know was part of the brotherhood. Rico and Jepp managed to fight off the attack in order to get the new inmate to his cell, with Rico managing to break the nose of one of the attackers and Jepp taking another down by placing them in a chokehold. Everyone scattered once the guards came in, ordering everyone to get down on the ground with the threat of being sent down into Segregation if they didn't obey the order. Thankfully for Rico and Jepp the rule of thumb in prison is that no one tells the Guards who instigated what, therefore meaning that the two didn't get any marks on their record for the incident. However for the members of BGF the situation was an embarressement for them, with the group already wanting to retaliate in some form to show the block that they wouldn't stand for those who got in their way. Not realising who they had gotten in the way of, Rico and Jepp believed the situation was well and truly over, proud of the fact they had won the fight and kept someone from further harm who didn't deserve it. The retaliation happened on the 18th September 2010 on the exercise yard. Rico and Jepp were busy playing basketball with others from the block when the call came for everyone to go inside for lockup. The two were heading indoors a large fight occured just to their left, drawing the attention of everyone on the yard including the Guards who were meant to be on the look out for any suspicious activity. Meanwhile whilst the fight was ongoing Rico and Jepp were jumped by two black males who were apart of teh Black Guerilla Family, tasked with taking them down. Rico was grappling with the one targetting him, trying to get the guy off his throat before he heard Jepp cry out in pain. Time seemed to have stopped still around them as rubber bullets hit the ground, causing everyone to drop to the floor with their arms outstretched whilst the Guards began sprinting towards them wearing full gear. Rico began to crawl towards his friend who was on his stomach, his hands weakly trying to reach for the homemade shank that was still stuck in his back. Upon reaching Jepp, Rico took out the shank before trying to put pressure on the several stab wounds Jepp had suffered, despite knowing that his friend wouldn't be able to survive so many wounds. That day Rico lost a part of him and his best friend, with Jepp dying in his arms before the guards even reached them. The last act Rico did was take the necklace around Simon's neck, a silver chain with the initial's SJ on a cross, putting it around his own before the guards dragged him away. Rico will forever remember Jepp's last words, that are now etched on his gravestone. 'I hate to leave you all behind, but we'll meet again one day.' Popular Post Vubstersmurf 3,430
A man who has blown all his options can't afford the luxury of changing his ways. He has to capitalize on whatever he has left, and he can't afford to admit - no matter how often he's reminded of it - that every day of his life takes him farther and farther down a blind alley. After Jepp died Rico's entire world came to a standstill, alone in Prison he found it even harder to get through his sentence. The overwhelming guilt and anger meant Rico spent more time in Segregation for the rest of 2010 until he finally snapped out of it. Unfortunately spending such a long time away from the general population didn't help Rico come to terms with Jepp's death or the outstanding threat he had from the Black Guerilla Family. In more effective terms, Rico flicked the switch in himself to turn his emotions off, finding it easier to deal with life in Prison without the emotions surrounding it. After getting moved from Segregation Rico was returned to a new block to try to get him back into mixing with other inmates, including sharing a cell with someone who seemed to run the block himself. Evan O'Hara was a proud member of the Aryan Brotherhood, who had been in and out of prison his entire life due to his work for the Brotherhood and his tendencies to get into any fight possible. Having heard about Rico stepping into the middle of the fight involving members of BGF and a young inmate who was involved with the Aryan's, Evan had more respect for the young adult who was still finding his way, and tried his best to nudge Rico into the ways of the brotherhood. Despite being on another block to the majority of BGF, Rico was still having issues with the group itself who had begun finding ways to go after him, hiring other groups to try different methods of breaking him down to the point of suicide. In their eyes not having to pull the trigger themselves to finish him meant that the job would be a lot cleaner, besides who would care about the suicide of a young inmate who was clearly on the edge after losing his best friend. Those who went after Rico tried different ways of breaking him down mentally, even going as far as placing a cloth around his head and holding him under the water in the shower to make him feel like he was drowning. During one incident Rico got stabbed in the stomach and was left to bleed out in the kitchen where he was working that day, the Guard in charge of the Kitchen detail had fallen asleep in the corner something which the Guard was known for, and therefore when they found Rico the Guard panicked and tried to seal the wound using a heated pipe before throwing Rico back into his cell. The Guard had hoped that cauterizing the wound and locking Rico up in his cell for a few days with the reason that Rico had been caught making alcohol in the Kitchen, would prevent an investigation into the stabbing and ultimately being questioned on why the Guard had fallen asleep. Despite the wound being sealed, Rico suffered continuous consequences even after leaving Prison, with it leading up to him losing his Kidney in the future. However the stabbing and the other methods of torture didn't make Rico submit, and it wasn't until members of a Japanese group tasked on doing intel on Rico found out about his family that Rico finally began to crack. After being shown photos of his family, Rico was told that if he didn't do everything BGF and their associates wanted, his family would be the ones to suffer. Everyday Rico would be tormented with fresh photos of his brother and Father, with written threats about what they would face if he didn't start doing what they ordered. Yet Rico still struggled to concede, he couldn't begin carrying out attacks for the groups despite the danger to his family. It didn't take long for Rico to turn to Evan, requesting the Aryan's help in return for doing what they needed. Evan understood Rico more than most and realised that despite his recent trauma's Rico wouldn't do anything that would hurt anyone who he felt was innocent. He would only fight those who were trying to hurt others or were planning to, and for this Evan respected him a lot more. Soon Rico stopped hearing about the threats to his family, with Evan assuring him that things had been resolved but that he owed a life debt to the Aryan's for their troubles. To Rico, he would much rather work for someone who understood his morals than a group who wanted him to hurt anyone they wanted, including those who hadn't done anything to warrant it in the first place. Unfortunately, Evan was never too far away from his twin brother Aidan, who Rico always butt heads with. Aidan was in Rico's eyes more dangerous than other inmates around him, with continuous mental health issues that often set Aidan's aggression off. More than once Rico had seen Aidan nearly cave another inmates head in due to them simply in Aidan's own words 'Looked at me funny'. Alongside his violent tendencies, Aidan was very outspoken about his racist ideas, which made being near him often being like near dynamite that could explode at any minute. Eventually, Aidan was taken off the block and onto a special unit that enabled him to get the help he needed to be safely released back into the community, with him now off the block the atmosphere was almost bearable. Rico realised he needed to get his act together before he was up for release, and therefore spent the rest of his years inside completing courses in Construction and Building maintenance for him to learn a trade. Alongside his education, Rico got involved in learning mixed martial arts from other inmates on the block, which enabled him to get fitter and keep his mind occupied, something which was more important than ever inside the Prison. On 5th November 2015, Rico was finally released from San Quentin, using the transport money he got from the Prison to make his way to Los Santos, San Andreas where Evan had managed to track his Rico's brother down to. Evan had also managed to secure Rico a vehicle from someone he had contact with in LS, enabling Rico an easy way to get around alongside a place to sleep in until he managed to make some money. Rico wasn't bothered about being homeless, he had a contact address for probation which he ensured to turn up to for every scheduled meeting and was able to use showers at the gyms around the city to stay clean. Soon he was able to do odd jobs around the city whilst earning money from helping the Brotherhood outside of San Andreas, often going away for a couple of days a week to help them where needed. The money he was given was used to start his construction firm, giving him the chance of putting his education to use whilst making enough money legally to keep his probation officer happy. Being off probation gave Rico a lot more leeway to look at ways of earning even more cash, soon getting back into touch with his brother with them buying a house together to stay in. Before long Rico got contacted by an old friend he always referred to as 'Sully', asking for him to take over the Vikings MC in Los Santos due to needing to step down as President. For a brief moment, Rico was going to decline, thinking that perhaps he could live a somewhat normal life without going back into being a part of a Motorcycle Club especially with leading one, however, he found himself wanting to get back into the feeling of being apart of a brotherhood, and maybe just maybe he could use the club for good. Protecting those in the community of Los Santos, something which after his stint in Prison, Rico felt would help make up for his past mistakes. Anything worth doing, is worth doing right. (( The rest of this thread will be screenshots of Rico's life after leaving Prison, including the good and the bad times as part of running a Motorcycle Club and having his own family. The difference is in my world, I knew that those violent desires would never become real. In yours, it’s a very likely outcome.
