Factions

911 calls to discord

 

Would be cool to have 911 calls that go straight to PD and FD discord pagers,

 

Requirements

 

  • Owlbot sends 911 calls to pagers

 

Helps bring realism of an actual dispatch pager, and encourages people to get online for calls.

  • GUI similar to what we had on MTA, you select animation and your character does it. Also ability to add it to a hotkey.

 

I think this is needed as we really need more animations considering there's tons of animations out there that we aren't currently utilising.

This! The basic /animlist is so outdated, I find myself searching the forum for that updated list for hours.

my opinion is to centralize a few areas in los santos for RP and keep the rest of the map open

 

doesn't harm to have a "pizza stacks" on owlV, a hotspot that bands players around and brings about decent RP from time to time. this is just a stepping stone towards bringing more people around.

Shouldn't really depend on others to make your own roleplay as you can make your own fun. I'm actually against the idea of restricting some areas of the town and I would say that it's all about time and the server will get bigger.

I would suggest changing the YELLOW icon to something else as an arrow as it looks a bit weird when I've spotted the yellow circles down at Davis Gas Station, it was a bit weird to have more than 10 yellow circles in the same area for each gas usage as it would make sense to only have two circles since the GAS STATION IRL doesn't have fifteen works but only two or even three enough.

 

Also another thing as the yellow circle should be removed from being in the middle of any interior as it would ruin some RP screens for any illegal organization and some other people around would be irritated by it but it would make sense if the entrance is just at one of the doors and people will know the exit just the moment they walk into an interior as they would move back to the place they've went inside from.

Modshops/Mechanics access to LS Customs
 

Players atm can just go to any LS Customs and mod their vehicle off the fly, and it wouldn't require any RP for them to do so, at a downside of people who would want to open a modshop and do it for other players. 

My idea is to allow people to have a mechanic job, so that they could have access to LS Customs via their own marker (linked to their interior or to a mechanic faction they're in) or via a menu and being able to modify other player's vehicles.

They'd pay for the parts, at a fair discount so they could charge players for the parts and make a small buck while at it.

 

Requirements

Adding a mechanic job with access to LS Customs
Adapting the LS Customs system to provide people with the mechanic job the ability to have their own marker or menu to mod vehicles from.. Which would only be accessible by any interior key holder or by any faction member (if it's linked to the faction.)

Anything else that would require adapting, in order for it to work.

  • Impound lot for PD and PTWD to impound vehicles similar to how the current tow script works. They would take a vehicle to a location, then input how long it needs to be impounded for and a fine.

 

Actually ensures PTWD has a reason to exist since right now they can't do anything, also PD need to be able to tow vehicles for investigation or for breaking road laws. They can then either impound them indefinitely (for ongoing investigations) or for as long as the penal code states. 

PD Also need to be able to ticket vehicles including faction vehicles, since currently they are unable to.

For the love of everything this, yes.

Item/Inventory

World Objects

 

Requirements

  • Could be a command admins give to players just like we had on MTA, this way we can ensure exterior objects aren't abused.

 

Would be good to be able to place some furniture outside interiors, just to create some roleplay events.

Characters

Damage output information, basically if your character gets shot, knifed or any other form of damage it outputs in general chat so people can know what's going on. Basically helps around rage sync (I would imagine anyway). EMS or whoever can then get accurate information by either having their own command to see the damage on someone else or have the player tell them.  This should also be logged so admins can check.

 

Requirements

  • Have damage output to chat so it tells the player what limb got damaged, by what, and how much damage.  Also allows us to have more accurate knowledge on the type of wound (Since different bullets for instance cause different damage).
  • CK'd characters to have the damage visible for PD or EMS via a command, this way we can tell cause of death and continue RP without admins digging around for ino.

 

Helps roleplay, ensures people know what damage has been caused and by what, also helps roleplay around CK'd characters as it allows people to try discover cause of death.

Characters

Date of birth system - Just allows for better information for PD, EMS and for applications to factions.

 

Requirements

  • Allow all players to select DOB from character creation, existing characters after the update also get prompted on initial start up for DOB selection.

 

Just gives more realism, since DOB is final and people can put that on applications etc. Currently we are just stuck with age.

I would love to see Custom Shop NPCs.
To specify what I have in mind, my ideas is to make an editable shop where the specific interior keyholders or owners could edit the shop just like on MTA, but not quite like there.
My idea is, the owner or keyholders would have to pay for each single item they want the shop to sell.
For example: The shop gets spawned, it will be empty and will have nothing for sale - there would be a different tab in the shop for owners or keyholders which would allow them to PAY a fee to add a product into the shop.
EX: Pay $2.000 and the shop would be able to sell one specific item let's say a bottle of Vodka for $35 each, which would be of unlimited stock and the shop would have to sell about 60 of them to get back the $2,000 the owner invested to add this option to his shop NPC which is quite fair.

Many of you may think, why doing this if you can simply ask for more NPCs for your shop.
Well, yes but isn't it more special and simplier if you can simply have only the stuff you want to sell in your NPC shop and nothing extra? - Of course it'll cost you something but that's another way of shopkeeping, not just buying an interior, getting an NPC and not having to worry about 'stocks' lets say.

Clothing/Uniform

I'd like to see a system to where Legal Factions can form their own uniforms. Obviously not taking them out of SOP but rather being able to piece them together themselves.

 

 

Requirements

  • Inserting an NPC similar to the clothing store guy. Call him "Quartermaster" or something.  (For PD it could be a Police NPC model, for FD, a Fireman NPC model, etc) From there, we'd go on duty, then go to the NPC to pick and choose the pieces/items of clothing to form the uniform ourselves, including accessories, duty belts, radio slings, gloves, hats, pants, shirts, shoes, whatever else. Though if the faction member is togged to be on duty, obvs they'd not need to PAY for said items out of the NPC/Vendor. They should also have the ability to save specific whole outfits that way, they can "load" said outfit (again, provided they're toggled as being on duty). This would also help greatly for detectives, for example, when needing to blend in and seem like normal everyday citizens. Uniformed members would be able to Go on duty, Remove their badge (ie: drop it on the ground or some such) Choose the attire/clothing, then pick up and re-equip said badge and it'd show over top of whatever shirt they've chosen. For detectives, they could pick it back up but NOT equip since they'd not openly be wearing said badge on the outside.

Character/Hair 

I'd like to see an option to toggle hair in some way. 

 

Requirements

  • Simply having an option, be it via command or some other way, to toggle hair. Females, for example, with long hair, upon putting a hat, or helmet on, be it for some sort of work/duty or use with a bicycle or motorcycle or any of the sort, the new long hairs clip through and you like really dumb. My suggestion would be to perhaps be able to use a command to toggle the hair into one of the bun styles, or ponytail styles. It could work in a way such as: /toghairbun /toghairbun2 /toghairpony (Retaining the hair color of course!) then to remove any of these toggled styles you could /toghairnone and go back whatever normal hair you had. 

 

I use the buns and ponytail as suggestions because it makes more since as ladies would easily be able to put their hair up in any of these styles quickly, and hats and helms work perfectly fine with those styles

1. Test driving vehicles from dealerships should be a good addition on the server in my opinion, like how in MTA was before. Also mechanic roleplay should be increased, alot of people posted about this above I'm totally supporting those ideas. 

 

2. Gate system was a useful script on MTA so why not having it here if it's possible. More houses with gate's on this map. Also this can increase the roleplay situation for security comapanies to install, the gate system, CCTV and all the electronics needed.

 

3. I saved it for last, because it's more of an own opinion, improved inventory tab(maybe you are working on this already, no idea), for me it's really working so hard and difficult, something like we had before in MTA should be good.

To build on this,  bodies should remain till scriptly moved or removed by ... whatever faction/ team you guys feel should be able to do so for ck and pk's both.  That way, detectives and forensic specialists  can get some work/rp in as well.

GUI

Would be nice to have an alert for /status, so people are aware that they have one and delete it so it doesn't look out of place.

 

Requirements

  • Add a line of purple text just above the radar at the bottom left that says "Status active - use /delstatus to remove".

 

This should allow people to be reminded they have one and how to remove it, rather than have people use /status and forget it's active, then walk into a bar for example with a /status for something in the car. This way people's statuses don't look out of place which helps immersion.

Characters

Languages, for characters.  Essentially people can choose to speak a different language which shows up for others who speak the same. Creates more diversity.

 

Requirements

  • Can work like MTA where you have a GUI to choose what language you want to speak in or just have a simple command that you put in front of the text. It shows as gibberish for anyone who hasn't learnt the language.

Players should be able to learn at least 3 languages seperate from English (Or have the ability to further down the line, since some people's backgrounds would fit multiple languages depending on their character story.  Promotes more immersion especially for groups who predominately speak one language or want to be secretive about it.

Gas station owners should receive a cut of the gas stations fuel sales, Just like we had on MTA.

Some scripts

 

 

Creates more realism and a market for gas stations.

Hunger bar would be cool to have

Eating foods = Refill hunger

First aidkits / bandages = Refill health  

Should cost a lot more to fill the Health bar then the Hunger bar

Requirements

ability to clear chat depending on number of lines specified in chat settings.

perhaps a command for admins to toggle OOC if not already implemented for events

but also the ability for any player to go into chat settings and remove /b chat from a channel

 

 

Uses

Allow for a more immersive roleplay experience as well as making it easier for content creators to capture screenshots/recordings.
