MTA SA not working

Question

Hi, I've recently installed windows 7 on my laptop. I installed GTA sa and MTA too but none of them works. When I try to launch GTA sa nothing happens, tried changing the compatibility multiple times but it didn't work. Same thing happens with MTA sa, the " stop playing with yourself screen " appears then nothing happens.

- try installing/updating your system drivers.

- make sure that the game is clean, pirated games are just a headache.

- buy the official release of the game from the publisher or some well-known source such as steam if available.

- make sure you’re using the recommended game version “1.0.”

- pirated games usually used to be patched with some malwares that would be known as a virus so the firewall may delete the file and that makes the game won’t run forever.

Solved, thanks tho

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

OT: Can you give us a screenshot of your directory folder of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas? (Where your gta_sa.exe resides, most specificly.)

Alright, since Mister Robot here @Diogo isen't giving you any help, i'll take a shot, is it a "unpaid version" or a original version (CD/Steam)? Did you copy the entirety of the game if the first case is, your case?

Yes I'm using a cracked version of GTA.

So uh. One question. Where is your MTA folder?

C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5

Yeah, so. What I think the issue is, I don't see an MTA folder in your GTA:SA directory. Try de-installing MTA and reinstalling it, then make SURE you select the correct GTA:SA directory that you actively play on.

Which, if I look at your directories, would be D:\GTA San Andreas

Also make sure that you are using a NOCD crack if you are using a downloaded version.

What's NOCD Crack? Also the problem is Gta itself doesn't launch so MTA wont.

Make sure you nocd crack is installed correctly, or validate through steam if you're one of the legit guys. Simply try reinstalling if that doesn't work. I personally have problems with newer nvidia drivers on my 1050 laptop, you can try installing a slightly older driver if all the other options fail
