Los Santos County Government Expropriation Resolution of 2018

 

RESOLUTION OF COUNTY OF LOS SANTOS TO ESTABLISH THE OFFICIALITY OF THE EMINENT DOMAIN EXPROPRIATION OF DINOCO EXOTICS - 1258 HOLY CROSS ST. MARKET, LOS SANTOS.

 

WHEREAS, the County desires the best possible performance for its only hospital (Saint Ernest Medical Center).

 

WHEREAS, the County recognizes that the aforementioned property (Dinoco Exotics - 1258 Holy Cross St. Market, Los Santos) is essential for for continuation of hospital operations and public parking.

 

WHEREAS, the County considers it the duty of the County Commissioner to ensure that the expropriation of the aforementioned property is carried out and used as a public grounds for parking.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNTY OF LOS SANTOS AGREES AS FOLLOWS:

 

  1. The County establishes the officiality of the eminent domain expropriation of the acquired property (Dinoco Exotics - 1258 Holy Cross St. Market, Los Santos).

  2. The County establishes that the County Commissioner shall not interfere, tamper with, or cease the expropriation of the aforementioned property.

  3. The County establishes that once fully acquired, the aforementioned property must remain as public property.

  4. The County establishes that the County Commissioner must consult and receive a majority favorable vote from the County Council in order to interfere, tamper with, or cease the expropriation of the aforementioned property.

 

ON THE MOTION OF Supervisor NICHOLAS HOWARD, seconded by Supervisor KEIRA MOSLEY, the foregoing resolution was duly passed, adopted, and ratified by the Council of Supervisors of the County of Los Santos, State of San Andreas, this day of 30 November 2018, by the following vote:

 

  • Aye: 4
  • Nay: 0
  • Absent: 3
