  1. Street Dragons is a group of organized crimes that lies in Little Seoul This organization was fount by a man called Han Hongya. He has some underbosses that he never states their names until you become a part of their organization. This organization's roots lie all the way back to Han's time that he spent in Hong Kong during the 2000s. Han Hongya was a man of Triad during his time in China. In China, Han tried to achieve more power in Triad and got on the nerves of the Triad. He was asked to commit 'Six Holes' suicide or give away one of his fingers and move to Los Santos in the name of Triad. He started to create a network of exporting black market items on the streets on gun and drug wise. It is rumored that Street Dragons works for Triad and they are a part of it. Street Dragons generally be seen with thug-wise pop-culture clothing on streets except for two or three men that stand out with their suits which are rarely seen on the streets. This little cute Korean Neighborhood is contested by some shady Chinese people. And by time Street Dragons came to be known in the area. Each day, the hood that Street Dragons live in gets populated more by Chinese people. Over time, different gangs and underground organizations started to become aware of this faction. They are becoming more popular each day in the District. Thanks to @LeNova for his graphical help on this thread. Even though he insisted alot to remove my great looking edits... Still thanks for his work. Faction CK Clauses: Those who associate with the faction may be CKd by leadership because of the following rules: 1) Provoking members of the faction. We need our members to be loyal to each other. 2) Betraying the faction. 3) Attracting unwanted attention by Government Factions. P.s. Feel free to put screenshots in the comments as long as you Roleplay with us, but make sure to speak with leadership and ask their permission before posting them.
  2. Introduction to the French Organized Crime Family The Rochette Family is a French organized crime family with heavy ties to the Corsican mafia. The French organized crime or loosely known as "Milieu", is well known for creating the "French Connections" scheme (mainly the Corsican mafia) during the 1930s that gave birth to the smuggling of heroin from Indochina through Turkey to France and then the United States and Canada. At its peak, during the 1960s, the French and the Corsican crime families managed to create themselves a ludicrously rich drug smuggling empire until its dismantlement in the 1970s. The French mob holds many close ties and roots to the Corsican counterpart, its organizational structure and ways of dealing with business is no different. However, their culture is. While the Sicilian or the well known Italian-American organized crime only allows people of Italian descent to join the mob, the French equivalent doesn't harshly discriminate on its membership requirements. Anyone regardless of their race is allowed to join the French mob as long as they speak French, are of French descent or come from a nation that is a member of the Francophonie (or post-colonial state of France/a nation where French is lingua franca or customary language). Only members of French descent are allowed to become Capitaine (Captain) and beyond. The Rochettes The Rochette family was founded by Gilbert Rochette. They were a small-time crime organization in Marseille during the French Connections era until its dismantlement in the '70s. With the death of the most important source of income, the organization was dissolved. The New Era - 2021 The last remaining son of Gilbert, Raymond Rochette emigrated to the United States with promises from the Unione Corse that the second generation of the French Connection is coming. He's to help establish links to distribute the drugs in Los Santos while setting up a foothold within the state of San Andreas for the French mob for a variety of criminal activities such as money laundering, racketeering, prostitution, extortion, corporate crime and contract killing. As the French community grows in the city, Raymond established an imports company under the name of "L'Aigle". The company imports the finest French alcoholic beverages and cheese with hopes to promote the French culture, but also to create a legal front for the organization. ____ OOC Information: While the information on the French mob is limited, I tried my best to use my imagination to fill in the gaps. You can see this faction as a French counterpart to Italian-American LCN, but with much different culture, ways of dealing with business and way of life. The faction is not only here to create a criminal RP, but also to kickstart an IC French community in Los Santos where the faction would be heavily involved in its development and creation of the "Los Santos French Association". We're not a gang, we're an organized faction with structure and internal rules, but as the idea is new the faction develops with you. RP as a respectful individual, not a gangbanger. We don't use radios - I believe they break the immersion and realism of criminal organizations. Use phones to meet up, talk with each other and get to know other members by hanging out. We encourage to roleplay the legal front of the faction which is the imports company L'Aigle or any other further ventures. We're here to do business, not to control the city. We will only go so far if pushed around. By associating yourself with the faction you give us permission to character kill you if deemed necessary/for valid RP reasons. I would like to admit one thing. It's the first time I ever went around creating a faction in a very long period of time that I RP, so please bear with me. I know the topic might be a mess and graphical work is missing (which I'm hoping to get sometime soon), but I will work on ensuring the topic is maintained and clean as time goes by.
  3. The Borisova Bratva Faction CK Clause: Those who associate with the faction may be CKd by leadership at any time if they fall under one of the below guidelines: 1) Provoking members of the faction/associating with the faction in illegal activities. 2) Betraying the faction through snitching, leaking information or stealing from higher ranking members. 3) Attracting unwanted attention by rival factions or Government Departments by actions that were not authorised by leadership. 4) Befriending/helping known enemies or rivals of the faction 5) Failure to heed ingame warnings from leadership/higher ranking members. Failure to comply to orders will atleast result in the character being expelled from the faction. History The Russian criminality can be traced back to Russia's imperial period, which began in the 1720s, in the form of banditry and thievery. Most of the population were peasants, in poverty at the time, and criminals who stole from government entities and divided profits among the people earned Robin Hood-like status, being viewed as protectors of the poor and becoming folk heroes. In time, the Vorovskoy Mir (Thieves' World) emerged as these criminals grouped and started their own code of conduct that was based on strict loyalty with one another and opposition against the government. When the Bolshevik Revolution came around in 1917, the Thieves' World was alive and active. Figures as Vladimir Lenin attempted to wipe them out, but failed, and the criminals survived into Joseph Stalin's reign. During Stalin's reign as ruler, millions of people were sent to the 'gulags' (Soviet labor camps), where powerful criminals worked their way up to become 'vorami v zakone' ("thieves-in-law"). These criminal elite often conveyed their status through complicated tattoos, symbols still used by Russian mobsters. When the USSR collapsed and a free market economy emerged, organized criminal groups began to take over Russia's economy, with many ex-KGB agents and veterans of the Afghan war offering their skills to the crime bosses. Gangster summit meetings had taken place in hotels and restaurants shortly before the Soviet's dissolution, so that top vory v zakone could agree on who would rule what, and set plans on how to take over the post-Communist states. It was agreed that Vyacheslav "Yaponchik" Ivankov would be sent to Brighton Beach in 1992, allegedly because he was killing too many people in Russia and also to take control of Russian organized crime in North America. Within a year, he built an international operation that included, but was not limited to, narcotics, money laundering and prostitution and made ties with the American Mafia and Colombian drug cartels, eventually extending to Vice City, Liberty City and made plans to expand into Los Santos. However, Ivankov's reign ended in June 1995 when a $3.5 million extortion attempt on two Russian businessmen ended in an Federal Investigation Bureau (FIB) arrest that resulted in a ten-year maximum security prison sentence. As the 21st century dawned, the Russian mafia remained after the death of Aslan Usoyan (who had replaced Ivankov) . New Mafia bosses sprang up, while imprisoned ones were yet to be released. Present Borisova Holdings Incorporated is believed to have been founded by one of these 'new' bosses, by the name of Alexander Borisov, in the early 2000's. With the Russian Mafia in America being left with a power vacuum due to the death of Aslan Usoyan, and the infighting that followed, it is believed Alexander Borisov had decided to pursue Ivankov's plan to expand into Los Santos in 2003. Alexander Borisov was shot and killed at a restaurant in Liberty City in late 2007 following shortly after the release of Ivankov (who is suspect to have played a part in the murder). Alexander Borisov's organization fell into ruin and his 'empire' collapsed all across the United States. Recently the name Borisov(a) surfaced again. A young woman named Dominika Borisova is said to be at the head of the organization, and is quickly moving in on the local (criminal) markets. OOC Goals Establishing and adequately portraying the Russian Mafia. Influencing other legal and criminal groups alike in the world of Owlgaming. Provide an oppertunity for both legal and criminal characters to participate in the grey area of society. Promote and engage in Faction Cooperation or Conflict, vying for dominance where they may. IC Goals Summarized; Get rich and powerful through a series of legal (Borisova Holdings Incorporated) and illegal (The Borisova Bratva) activities. Get money. Get power. OOC Rules: This faction has a zero tolerance policy on trolling and rule breaking, those found breaking server rules or trolling will be booted from the faction.
