I support this as well! It makes screens and video look wonky when you have a big hoovering icon. I can imagine as the server grows, more and more properties are purchased that it will look very cluttered.

I support changing this as well, range is too large; interior chat and roleplay where there is a decently sized group tends to get very muddy on the screen.
